Access
Location of Yonabaru Town
Yonabaru Town is located about 9km east of Naha city. It lies on the east shore on the south end of main land Okinawa and faces Nakagusuku Bay.
It covers about a 5.18km² area and is the second smallest local government after Tonaki village.
There is a hillrock grove called Amagoi Mori in the southeast and Untamamori is on a small hill in the northwest part of town. Yonabaru Town is flat land along the coastline and faces the Nakagusuku Bay. This is an important place along the coast line on the east coast as it has connected the south and central part of Okinawa since olden time.
