レトロでかわいいまち「よなばる」は、那覇空港から東へ車でおよそ３０分。大きな建物もなければ、有名な建造物もない、ただ昔ながらの人情と穏やかな時間があるだけ。

Yonabaru is a retro and cute town. It is about 30 minutes by car from Naha Airport to the east. There are no large buildings or famous buildings, but you can spend a relaxing time with old-fashioned humanity.

＊与那原大綱曳＊
４４０年余りの歴史と伝統を誇るよなばる一番の神事でありおまつり。誰もが「作る」「担ぐ」「曳く」に参加できる体験型まつりでもある。一度参加したらやめられない、この興奮を知らずして沖縄・よなばるは語れません。
日程：毎年旧暦６月２６日直後の週末に開催されます。２０２０年は８月１５日㈯、１６日㈰の２日間。
場所：大綱曳会場は「御殿山青少年広場（うどぅんやませいしょうねんひろば）」、まつり会場は「与那古浜公園（よなこはまこうえん）」
＊２０１９年に開催された「第３７回与那原大綱曳まつり」の概要はこちら をご参考にごらんください。なお、開催日は旧暦６月２６日後の週末となりますので、毎年変わります。２０２０年は８月１５日・１６日ですので、お間違いのないようにお願いいたします。
* Yonabaru Ozunaki *
Yonabaru Ozuhiki is the biggest and most important ritual and festival of over 440 years of history and tradition. This is a hands-on festival where everyone can participate in “making,” “bearing,” and “browsing”. Once you participate, you will not be able to quit. Also, I can’t talk about Okinawa and Yonabaru without knowing this excitement.
Schedule: August 15th, 2020, 2nd day, 16th.
Venue: Yonabaru Ozunaki’s venue is “Udonzanyama Youth Square” and the festival venue is “Yonakohama Park”
